| My 1995 jeep cherokee sport experienced sudden/rapid acceleration and crashed into another vehicle when shifting from park into drive. chrysler claims driver error, as if i do not know the difference between the brake and gas pedals. i am the original owner and principal driver of the vehicle and it was not driver error. i am not the only person to experience this situation. there is a problem that chrysler refuses to accept responsibility for. there was a press release in april 97 with regards to this problem but the recall was not issued until september 1997 , too late for me with an 8-27-97 incident. this is negligence on the part of chrysler. please advise. | |||
