| The moving vehicle inadvertently stalls. the stall has mostly occurred on the highway at speeds of 70-75 mph, as well as on-ramps and off-ramps. the frequency of occurrence is approximately (3-4) times per month. when the vehicle stalls i have to quickly put the vehicle in neutral and restart the engine. fortunately the engine restarts immediately and i am able to resume driving. the problem was reported to a local (ri) dealership, who was unable to diagnose a problem/defect. i am apprehensive about driving this vehicle, and i am a police officer with extensive training. i will not allow my wife to operate this vehicle. *tr | |||

| While driving my vehicle the gauges started to go up and down, the radio went on and off, the turn signals were interrupted, all the idiot lights came on and went out leaving the engine light on. i called my garage and found out the front control modular is going. there was a recall on 2008's but my vehicle was not included due to manufacture date. my vehicle is only 4 years old and was used previously by diamond chrysler. i have not received any recalls. according to them my vehicle is clean. now i will have to pay close to $1,000.00 to get it fixed. if a recall goes out it should go out to all vehicles in case one such as my vehicle gets missed. *tr | |||

| While driving all my gauges stopped working such as the wipers, speedometer, oil light, all of my gauges stopped working that are controlled by the computer. couldn't tell what gear i was in while driving. my radio and clock wouldn't work. my blinkers wouldn't work. i had to take it to get it fixed this morning. i suprised this wasn't on a recall. | |||

| While braking going into a right-hand-corner the lights on the dashboard came on and the engine stalled. the vehicle came to an immediate complete stop on the road. luckily there was no car following me as otherwise there would have been a dangerous rear-end collision. could not restart the vehicle. it was taken by truck to the jeep garage. a fuse connected to more than 30 applications had blown. when replaced the car functioned. garage spent 2 days searching but could not diagnose the cause of the problem with the fuse . charged me 300 usd. two days later the engine stalled again while braking in a right-hand-corner. the vehicle has now been in the garage for 2 days for diagnostic testing and further checks. no resolution to the problem has yet been found. the vehicle is 2 years, 7 months old so the repair is not covered by the manufactures warranty. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2008 jeep grand cherokee. the contact stated while driving at various speeds she had failures with the interior lighing, the exterior lighting, no heat/air conditioner, the turn signals, and the windshield wipers would fail. the vehicle has not stalled after this failure. in addition, when driving at moderate speeds the vehicle suddenly stalled without any warning when making a left turn. the vehicle was inspected by a dealer and they were unable to diagnose any of the failures. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 10,000. tb | |||
