EA07007CHRYSLER GROUP LLC04/27/200705/07/2008ENGINE STALLING08V203000
On may 5, 2008, chrysler llc (chrysler) submitted a defect information report to nhtsa concerning an engine calibration issue that could result in engine stall in approximately 24,461 model year (my) 2006 jeep commander vehicles equipped with the 4.7l v-8 engine and built from february 25, 2005 through january 11, 2006.according to chrysler, the powertrain control module (pcm) was programmed with software that may allow the engine to stall during certain operating conditions.chrysler dealers will reprogram the pcm software in the recalled vehicles. information provided by chrysler during pe07-009 and ea07-007 indicated that a revised engine calibration was implemented in production effective january 12, 2006 for the my 2006 jeep commander vehicles equipped with 4.7l v-8 engines.odi's analysis ofconsumer complaints, field reports and other data related to field experience with engine stalling in my 2006 through 2007 jeep commander vehicles equipped with 3.7l, 4.7l and 5.7l engines identified an elevated rate of stalling incidents in the my 2006 vehicles equipped with 4.7l engines that were manufactured before the calibration change.odi interviewed over 70 consumers who reported stalling incidents in early production my 2006 4.7l vehicles.information gathered from those interviews indicated that the stalling incidents were occurring at various speeds, often occurred during turns and typically occurred more than once.the interviews did not identify any concerns with restartability. although the early my 2006 production vehicles with 4.7l engines make up only about 15 percent of all my 2006 through 2007 jeep commanders built by chrysler, they were responsible for 465 of the 854 reported stalling incidents (54%), 6 of the 12 crash incidents (50%) and the only injury claim.the stalling rate for the recalled vehicles is 1.90 percent, almost 7 times greater than the rate in the remaining population (0.28 percent).chrysler's recall covers the vehicles with the elevated stalling rate.the remaining vehicles have relatively low rates of stalling and do not exhibit any signs of aggravating factors such as problems with restart. odi also analyzed complaints alleging concerns with loss of lighting coincident to stalling incidents.this analysis identified seven stalling incidents where loss of exterior lighting was alleged.no specific cause was identified in these incidents and there was no discernible pattern regarding engine, vehicle production options, build range or failure trend. this investigation is closed with chrysler's recall.
PE07009CHRYSLER GROUP LLC02/12/200704/27/2007ENGINE STALL
Odi has received 76 vehicle owner complaints alleging incidents of engine stall while driving in model year (my) 2006 through 2007 jeep commander vehicles (subject vehicles).some of the complaints reported one or more incidents of engine stall with a simultaneous loss of some or all lighting systems, including headlamps.two engine stalls resulted in a vehicle crash.in its response to a request for information, daimlerchrysler corporation (dcc) indicated that it has not determined the cause of engine stalling in the subject vehicles and that it hasformed a multi-disciplinary task force to investigate the issue. this investigation has been upgraded to an engineering analysis (ea07-007) to further assess the frequency, scope and potential safety consequences of the alleged defect.

On multiple occasions my 2007 jeep commander with 4.7 liter v8 has stalled without warning. it has happened at idle, while slowing, while accelerating, and while driving at freeway speeds (60-70 mph). each time it has restarted after taking the transmission out of gear, turning the key to the off position, and restarting the engine. this is potentially very dangerous if it happens under the wrong circumstances since you, of course, unexpectedly lose power assist on both brakes and steering when the engine dies. *tr

At various times without warning we lose power to the motor. can not accelerate. engine sputters. happens from dead stop, idling, or without warning driving in city or highway traffic. been looked at by multiple mechanics who are stumped. check engine light is on and sometimes flashes plus almost all dashboard warning lights turn on sometimes. this happened when i first purchased the vehicle and they wound up changing the transmission. *tr

I have had my 07 jeep commander (3.6 v6) since january 2008. i have notice numerous times while driving from a complete stop, that my vehicle will lose power and start to sputter when i try to apply the gas and the car moves very slow as in less than 20mph. this has happened to me numerous times and makes me very uncomfortable driving knowing that my car can stop and leave me vulnerable to being rear-ended at intersections or common stops. i notice when this happens that my vehicle cluster displays service park assist and the service park assist light comes on uncontrollably and at the same time my dash/ cluster also displays ( [p][r][n][d] ) all at once as if the vehicle does not know what gear it is in. this is not acceptable for a vehicle that is supposed to provide a safe driving experience. i also find it very disappointing that numerous people all over the united states and internet/ forums all have this problem and chrysler tries to narrow it down to a select year. model. and engine. my vehicle has the same issues as the previous recall for the 2007 4.7 v8 engines, yet chrysler ignores the community of jeep commander owners with the 3.6 v6 engine that have the same problem. there is also a tsb (18-004-09 rev. a) that describes the clunking and hesitation you feel when trying to get up to speed. this is not something a customer should have to pay for. my vehicle is a 2007 with less than 40,000 miles on it and i should be able to enjoy my vehicle safely during this time period. another problem is that the vehicle does this at random so you can't just take it to the dealership and show them the problem. i'm sure they would gladly take my money and let me spend 1000+ dollars for new parts, but i have an 8yr/80,000 mile warranty purchased from chrysler and will not pay for diagnostic after diagnostic to try and replicate a problem that is clearly there... *tr

I purchased my used jeep commander and shortly after it stalled on me while i was driving. i took turned the key and got it to turn on again, luckily there were no cars behind me. another time i was driving on the highway and the same thing happened, again i was lucky the traffic was backed up and not moving too fast. before my warranty ran out i took it in and the dealership said there was nothing coming up on their tests that was of concern. the next month my warranty expired and i was stranded at a store. my jeep would not turn on claiming transmission over temp. it was not the battery. i left it over night and went back the next day and it started right up. the dealership could not find anything wrong with my jeep and suggested a transmission computer update. about a month later i was back at the shop with the transmission over temp issue, but the jeep behaved at the dealership. i picked it up and about 2 months later i was back at the shop, having to tow in my car. the car again turned on, so the dealership replaced the starter relay on a guess (i was not charged). again 2 months later my car is back in the shop for not turning on, again saying that there is a transmission over temp issue. also while i am sitting at a red light, i find my jeep shaking like crazy. it seems like it wants to turn off, but it doesn't (or maybe the light changes just in time). i have done regular maintenance on my jeep. the dealership has run their diagnostic tests on the jeep and absolutely nothing has come up. all in all, i drive in fear that my car will stall again on the highway, putting both my son's and my life in danger, or that we will be stranded in the middle of nowhere. *tr

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 jeep commander. while driving approximately 30 mph, the engine stalled without warning. the engine restarted and resumed normally. the failure occurred sporadically. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer eight times for the similar defect. the catalytic converter and battery were replaced. the failure persisted after the repairs. the vehicle was currently being diagnosed by a specialized transmission shop. the technician detected several trouble codes and continued additional investigation. the manufacturer was not notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 12,000. the vin was unavailable. js

This has happened to me. i am a mother, wife , daughter. the bad thing of this situation is that i had this replaced once before i had 31,505 miles on it and the ems electric transmission shift module had to be replaced . 4 yrs later mileage at 82,000 miles the same part has to be replaced. i have contacted chrysler and all they can say we are sorry there is nothing i can do for you. this part is no longer under warranty and informed that the part (68021352) was not included in a recall. this malfunctions has caused me to no longer feel safe in my car. i don't want to drive my car with my daughter in it. with out warning this has happened one to many times. this part should be recalled when i had the vehicle serviced back in 2008 i paid 100.00 now today when i had it repaired it cost 1000.00. funny isn't it that over 4 yrs this part has doubled in price. and the mechanic at chrysler says to me oh yeah i've seen this alot on this model. *tr

While driving 70mph down the highway, my car suddenly stalled. i was forced to make an emergency stop on the shoulder of the highway. unlucky for me, where my car decided to stall was near the off ramp of the highway, under a bridge. it was quite a dangerous position to be in. the jeep dealership decided that it was a throttle positioning sensor. several months later and my car is randomly stalling again and the dealership does not understand why. i've had my shift assembly fully replaced as well as a new starter. i don't understand the issues that i am facing and why so little is known by the jeep dealership when this suv has been out for several years now. *tr

Problem started with vehicle losing power on acceleration from dead stop. it did that twice before the check engine light came on as i was pulling out into heavy traffic. immediately took it to garage which determined code were u0404 (implausible data received from esm), p0607 (ecu internal performance) and b1a28 (ecm mismatch with skm). dealers had two shifter/esm assemblies in stock. that tells me this is a common problem as i have read on the internet that it is. this vehicle is pampered and only driven about 5k per year, mostly when i got to our hunting camp up state. repair cost $1,130.99. chrysler needs to pony up with a recall and fix this issue without cost as well as reimburse those of us who have already paid to have the defect fixed. someone could be injured or killed as a result of this defect. *tr

Vehicle appeared to hesitate and eventually stalled loosing power. all instrumentation lights came on during this event. driver was able to coast to the side of the highway; place the car in park/neutral; and restart the engine. the same event has happened at least 4 other times since the first at varying speed (i.e. 35 to 65 mph) and there were no warning lights making this a very dangerous and unpredictable event. i took the vehicle to an authorized dealer and he stated that it could be the power control module; but was unsure. i'm very concerned with the safety of my family. the symptom of this problem (engine stall) is unpredictable and is a recipe for a serious and life threatening accident. i've reviewed hundreds of complaints reporting similar conditions. there needs to be a global recall on all 2007 jeep commanders reporting this problem to have this issues repaired before there is a loss of life resulting from this event. nhtsb please respond to this complaint and compel chrysler to issue a recall before it is too late and life threatening injury occurs. *tr

My 2007 jeep commander stalls during lengthy trips of 100 miles or more at speeds between 50 - 70 mph. each time it stalled i was on a major interstate and had to drift to the side of the highway to restart the vehicle. the first time it happened was early summer during a trip from georgia to louisiana and it did it again during a second trip in july. i thought my battery may have had a bad cell and was providing the needed power to the vehicle. after doing some research this evening online i see this is a big problem for other commander owners nationwide. i plan to take it to the dealer this week. *tr

The service park assist light will come on and them all the gear indicators on instrument panel will light up and vehicle stall when driving and lose all power. this has happened multiple of times at different speeds. scan code only shows electronic shift module (esm) is bad. my wife was pulling onto the highway from a side road one of the times the vehicle stalled and was almost hit by several cars. *tr

As of june 8th 2011 i bought my jeep used with approximately 42000 miles on it soon after it started having filling issues then for a while the issue ceased now about a month before date of stall listed above it started with the same filling issues except worse now causing it to not want to shift into gears as normal car would, kinda jerking in between shifts from different speeds and rpm increase and decrease. it has stalled on me twice now. the first time on the interstate at 70 mph with my 3 kids amd pregnant wife in the car causing all power functions to be lost and we almost got ran over by a transfer truck trying to get to the shoulder of the road. i had it look at and the throttle body and intake cleaned of carbon deposited and now today june 12th 2012 it stalled again getting off the interstate heading to my work. still filling high and low and stalling amd jerking between the natural shifting of the transmission

Back in 2009 the esm had to be changed twice and it was just changed again 3/19/2012 and here it is 5/25/2012 and this part goes again (electric shift module/unit). it goes while my wife was driving about 45/50mph on the highway the truck just stopped running when the lights on the dashboard flashed and went off(good thing that the road was pretty clear at that time) this is a well known problem with these trucks and jeep knows about it and refuses to call theses trucks off the road-there needs to be total recall of the jeep commandeers and chrysler/jeep needs to be made to purchase them from consumers but then again consumers don't have any rights or saftey nets

This problem began in the fall of 2008. typically, after shifting the car into drive, the car would not accelerate past idle speed, have a moderate bucking, all gear selector lights on the dash were boxed in, and an error message would read service park assist system. the problem was serviced under warranty. the dealership checked wires and connectors, and replaced the bezel assembly on shifter. this seemed to solve the problem until recently. beginning a few months ago, around the beginning of 2012, i am having the same problem with the exact same symptoms: all gear selector lights illuminated, no acceleration for 10-15 seconds, and service park assist system message. the problem occurs almost always in the morning on the way to work, school, etc.. it has never lasted longer than 15-20 seconds on any day, and seems to occur approximently one to two times per week, over the last 4 weeks. i have an appointment later this week at a dealer to check out the problem. but reading several internet sources, this obviously not an isolated issue, as there are many accounts of the same problem.

As i was driving my commander, it started to sputter and shift gears erratically and then died. the engine light was on as i pulled over to the side of the road. after i turned the car off completely, i tried to restart the car to continue to work. as soon as i put the vehicle in gear, it stalled once again. on the third try, i was able to place my vehicle in gear and complete my drive to work but the engine light remained on. this same scenario has happened five times since the original incident.

While driving 65 mph on the interstate, vehicle lost power. dash display message appeared service park assist system and vehicle gear display indicated the p r n d were all illuminated. the engine stayed running but would not respond to the gas pedal, decelerating. turned on hazard lights and pulled over, placed vehicle in park, shifted to drive, and continued as normal. a short time later, the check engine light came on. the problem is intermittent, and has happened many times since then and in many different driving situations. for example, after pulling into traffic on a highway, the vehicle would not accelerate, causing the traffic behind to nearly slam into us. if acceleration had been available as normal, this would not have been an issue. another example, the problem happened during heavy rush hour interstate traffic, causing the need to cross several lanes to reach a breakdown lane. it has happened immediatley upon starting the vehicle and after the vehicle has been running normally for a long time. it is very unpredictable. the vehicle is dangerous and cannot be trusted to provide power or acceleration when it is needed. private shop checked the fault codes and replaced the transmission control module which did not fix the problem. internet research shows this exact problem with these exact symptoms is common and widespread in the 2007 jeep commander and appears to indicate a faulty electronic shifter module. chrysler response to the problem is hit and miss, some dealers acknowledging they have seen this before, others claiming they have never seen it and the problem is isolated and not widespread. there needs to be a safety recall on this dangerous issue before someone is hurt or killed, if they have not already. we used this vehicle to transport our children and now we can't even trust it to safely get us to the shop to have it repaired.

Recently experienced a . service park assist system error with total loss of forward momentuem at about 15 mph. was able to pull over, place in park and continue going. however engine light is on, so headed to dealer monday. i'm greatly concerned if this happens at high speed and with family in the car. reading complaints, this is higly possible and there appears to be no real solution. help?!!

12/5/2011- the jeep commander lost all power while driving, i could not go faster then 15 mph. i took it to the dealership and they informed me, that the pcm needed to be changed and there was no recall. there was a recall on the 2006 model but none on mine (2007). this is very dangerous because the car will just lose power. i am now affraid to drive this car. i called the jeep recall center and they were of no help and a waste of time

The prnd gears lit up with boxes around them - the service parking assist brake came on as well.... i could not accelerate at all after the light turned green - had to turn on hazard lights and turn vehicle off and back on - worked fine for 10 minutes or so and then the check engine light came on, it has been on ever since. called the dealership about this they asked me to bring it in for diagnosing, but hesitant because of all the same kind of stories that i have read on this issue. going to have to give in though, this is a major safety concern of mine now... have not seen a recall for this even though someone can certainly have a devastating accident, not willing to take that chance... love my vehicle, but now i hate the aggravation that this is causing.. with all the horror stories with the same sort of issue you would think that jeep would take care of this, i guess that this is why they discontinued the commander?

While driving the transmission failed to shift past 2nd gear. the cooling fan proceeded to remain stuck on high. turned the vehicle off and then back on and it began to run fine. when turned off again it was again stuck in 2nd gear and the cooling fan proceeded to remain stuck on high. took to dealer and they cannot duplicate the problem though they claim the pcm needs updated again(was just updated 1.5 yrs ago and we paid) and needs a shift control module? we have had this vehicle back to the dealer 6 times since purchased new for transmission problems with reprogramming and not shifting correctly. why is this vehicle not on the recall list like the 2006 pcm commander issue?

My boyfriend and i were driving home from dinner and about half way home the car suddenly stopped accelerating and the speed dropped from 70 mph to 40 and kept slowing down. we had to pull over and turn the car off and then back on. the car has done this several times since and a light comes on that says service park assist. i have read up on this year, make and model and have found that this is a very common issue that has not been dealt with! this is also a very dangerous issue. i also found that it has nothing to do with the park assist but rather the transmission in the truck and that many have failed well before 50,000 miles but shortly after jeep's 35,000 mile warranty. jeep did not cover my car because i bought it used which terminated the warranty because i was not the original owner. i am very disappointed - this is my first jeep - and i have wanted a jeep for years. the car still decelerates at times - i can be in traffic or pulling off from a stop or turning a corner and all of a sudden it is not shifting or accelerating. i can't afford a new car right now but am concerned about my family's safety. please read up on the many articles and comments from people about this problem and save lives!!! with so many complaints and close-call accidents i would think that since it is 2011 something would have been done by now!

My 8 month pregnant wife was driving home from work and the prnd light all lit up at the same time. the dashboard read service park assist brake and the car quit accelerating and the lights turned off. luckily nobody was driving behind her and she was able to restart the car. if this happens while turning onto the road you could easily be hit from the side or from behind. we had a couple other incidents of loss of acceleration, but both times the car started accelerating again after 5 or 10 seconds. in every instance the prnd on the dashboard light up at the same time.

Engine light comes on and engine stalls/stops; engine dies when auto remote started dealer states the pcm need a software update which is not covered under the dealer or extended warranty i am in fear for the safety of my family because this stalling has occurred more than once why can't manufacturers be held accountable for their defects as it appears they know about it but won't extend it to the 5.7l hemi models such as mine
03/01/2010430005
2007 jeep commander v8 with hemi the vehicle stalls for no reason. i could be driving 45mph then for no reason all power to the vehicle fails. this has occurred 5 times in 1 week. i looked up recalls and see that the 2006 commander had a similar problem that prompted a recall of the powertrain control module (pcm). i contacted the dealerships and was told that my 2007 is not covered under the same recall, though the problem is the same. i believe that the pcm software needs to be reprogrammed. this failure may allow the engine to continue stalling resulting in a crash without warning. *tr

I have a 2007 jeep commander. it has been stalling (but not cutting off completely) for sometime. wednesday, january 28 2009 it began to stall and cut off. it would also rev up to about 3000 rpms while sitting still. while at a stop light on the same day it did the same and lunged forward at the same time (with my foot on the break). luckily there was no one coming through the intersection. it has been at a certified jeep dealership twice in the last week, this time for three days - so far! i am being told that they are unable to find anything wrong. a vehicle cutting off in traffic and going forward on its own seems to me to be a serious safety problem. *tr

Transmission not shifting, when @ a complete stop position, car lunges forward without any acceleration pedal pressure, while driving all prndl lights came on then car would not go over 30 mph even though i am stepping on acceleration pedal, when putting car in drive and stepping on acceleration pedal, engine revs but will not go, check engine light turns on, car completely shuts off while driving. shuts off while driving @ 65 mph. engine stalling and cutting off failure and has occurred @ least 5 times. the consequences have been that i could have been in 2 car accidents with 3 year old son in car. i also have spend time off from work due to damages and spent out of pocket expenses on rental cars. i now have a fear of driving. due to the car lunging i have almost rear ended 10 cars, on 10 different occasions. i have taken car to the dealer several times for repairs with no success. they have updated software, performed pcm reflash, rec throttle body and injector service, replaced esm module, replaced socket. *tr

On two separate occasions (first time was shortly after i purchased the vehicle and the second was within the last week or two), my jeep commander has stalled while coming to a stop with light braking (engine shuts off while vehicle is moving). i have also noticed that from time to time while sitting at a stoplight (in drive with brakes applied) the engine seems to hesitate and almost shuts off. also, at various times, there has been noticeable hesitation when attempting to accelerate from a standstill or rolling stop (5-10mph). problems seem to be related. i use only name brand 89 octane fuel (mfg. recommendation). *tr

My 2007 jeep commander refuses to accelerate after the service park assist light comes on and all gear options highlight at the same time. this will happen without warning while driving down the road and or highway. the only way to get the vehilce to begin to accerlate again is to put the vehicle in nuetral and apply the accelerator. it will also begin to accelerate while at a stop on its own. i have read many complaints of this exact and similar problems from other jeep commander owners. i have been waiting for a recall for this issue since other jeep commander owners has been charged for replacing transmission modules just to have this happen again. my commander is a 2007 v6 automatic transmission model. here are a couple links i have found on issues. http://www.arfc.org/complaints/2007/commander_4x4/power_train/problem.aspx also http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/jeep_accel.htm

After ignition the service park assist system warning comes up in the control panel, then the rest of the warning lights turn on, then after driving noticed that the speedometer was not working, then the vehicle would stall while driving, the accelerator does not respond, i was able to park on the side of the street, luckily it was not a heavy traffic street.

2007 jeep commander, started with service park assist light coming on along with the check engine light. took it in for service, they could not determine the problem so they reset the system. two days later the same thing began to happen again, along with the lights around the p n r d on the display coming on all together, the car also then began to not want to accelerate after a certain point. almost acting like it was not wanting to shift to the next gear. this happened for 8 months, still no service was done because they were unable to recreate the problem. it began to occur while driving and coming to a stop and starting to go forward again. causing problems crossing intersections or traffic. have now been told to replace the transmission control module, which we did. this did not fix the issue. in the last week were told to replace the electronic shift module.

Transmission stalling while driving- according the dealership service this is a problem with the electronic shift module. this has happened several times and is also a noted problem in these vehicles. this same vehicle has already been recalled for similar issue, but only for the bigger engine size. chrysler has informed me that they will not investigate even though it is the same problem in a different engine size. the vehicle can be traveling at 70 mph on the interstate and stall without warning. it will not go any further without stopping, turning off the engine and restarting. this happens several times daily. i have tried to get fixed and work with the problem, but after almost being rearended by an 18wheeler on the interstate today, enough is enough. it is for 2007 jeep commander 3.7lt. *tr

Purchase a used 2007 jeep commander on nov 2007 from dealership. two years in possession. the jeep commander, gears will all light up and stall at 30 rpm for two in half months frequently. without the dealership able to establish cause, i had to wait for the engine light to come on. on december 11. 2009, during the last two days, simultaneous the gears will light up while, the speedometer became irregular causing me to restart the jeep consistently to reset it. finally, the dashboard engine lights up and i turn it in to the dealership on december 12, 2009 the next morning. according, to dealership located in hampton, va. the problem is concluded as the shifter, not cover by the 4 star warranty however, after researching your database, i found similar problems with the power train and transmission software module. the jeep is now located at the dealership for repair however, a major problem after 2 years and 40,000 miles in service should not be the cause of ware and tear. *tr

When the cruise control is engaged at highway speeds and the vehicle is traveling down a hill the cruise control will properly downshift to slow the vehicle and keep it at the set speed. if the vehicle is then shifted into neutral, the cruise control will disengage properly and the transmission will go into the neutral gear, but when shifted back into drive the transmission will re-engage and will slow the vehicle extremely abruptly as if someone slammed on the brakes with full force and will nearly lock-up the rear wheels on dry pavement. this will occur even if the cruise control is turned off before shifting back into drive. this has happened to me twice because of the placement of the shifter, and it was terrifying because of the speed i was traveling and the abruptness with which the vehicle slowed. if anyone would have been behind me i would have been hit and there is nothing that can be done to make the transmission not do that once the transmission has been shifted into neutral. the vehicle would become completely out of control if driving on anything but totally dry pavement. *tr

I own a 2007 jeep commander at about 10,000 miles it started to stall and turn off. dealer did not replace any parts only flushed the on board computer and updated the software. months later it started to do the same thing. dealer did not find anything wrong and performed the same task of flushing the computer and updating its software. two years and 23,000 miles and the car is having the same problem. i have an extended warranty so i'm going back to the dealer, but i don't think they we fix the problem . tr

I purchased this car in march of 07' or at least around that time, in late 07 beginning 08 my car started stalling for no reason i actually thought it was my knee hitting the key (i sit close but not that close) my husband kept thinking it was me as well, after several times of the car stalling we both realized it was the car doing it not my knee and we took straight to the dealer in jan of 09. i advised the dealer all gears light up and the car will loose power or at least feel like it is and have no gas, i must shut the car off and restart before i am able to pull back on to the road. i was advised by world auto group in tinton falls nj this was happening to allot of commanders and the piece that is needed to be replaced is in back order due to this problem, they had my car for about 2 to 3 weeks in jan of 09. per the invoice cause is 21010336 shiftier mechanism/shift lever housing, automatic transmission - replace console shift (c) 2013wcdne 1 68004143af prndll bez - gear selector fc: part # count (will fax invoice tomorrow) about a yr and half later the same problem is back, all gears light up while driving, recently i was coming home from work and was on the nj turnpike at 5 o'clock (rush hour) all gears lit up and i had to get over as quick as possible before a truck or car hit me from behind since the speed limit is 65 mh. this is not a joke this is a life treating issue.. i called world jeep as well as chrysler headquarters right away advising this is a serious problem and needs to be addressed. the dealer and chrysler can not advise why this life treating issue keeps happening to my car, they just want me to replace the same thing they did 1 1/2 yrs ago..

Firstly, the event that brought this letter about took place on 03/28/2008 at 7:30 pm. the jeep commander i own smashed into my house. we began bbq-ing about 6:00 pm. while the food was cooking we sat in my jeep with the doors open and engine off.
