| Cracked windshield -- my wife's 2008 jeep commander has experienced three chips in the windshield; one was repaired, one developed into a crack and the third has remained a star. in addition, a crack developed below the one cause by a pebble. we have also experienced rust stains on the third row seats where the seat fold-down hinges are rusting through the leather seat coverings. *tr | |||

| Vehicle has rolled back 3 times on its own after being started while trans was still in park. dealer claims there is no problem to be found. child safety latch on door has failed. power window repeatedly goes up and down. instrument panel lights up completely while driving. four wheel drive system comes on when not needed and stays on. squeak in right rear suspension. other work has been done on vehicle that i can document. vehicle has approx. 8,450 miles. *tr | |||

| Windshield of 2008 jeep commander has cracked twice in less than the first 1,000 miles. both times were very small and slow rocks that would never do any damage to any other windshield i have ever owned. this is an epidemic! i am concerned that this could lead to a future safety issue! *tr | |||
