| I own a 1993 jeep grand cherokee limited. engine computer bought 9/03/07 from advance auto zone. installed 9/04/07 by thompsons' in marquette. mi. jeep broke down december 17,2008. 1st engine computer bought from carquest 2/04/09. installed 2/06/09 by tompsons'(defective) price $357.97. returned the part. i ordered from advance auto zone 2/09/09. installed by thompson's 2/10/09. check engine light will not light up/ jeep will not run. price $213.99. my mechanic asked me to make sure the engine computer numbers match. they did. carquest informed me there is a national recall on the engine computer & it can take up to 6 months to get me a part. i need my vehicle running. i can't afford to buy a vehicle right now. i need alot of advice. please help! *tr | |||
