I just purchased a 1994 jeep grand cherokee larado from a gentle man in massachusetts. i was told the vehicle had 52,000 original miles on it. i received an affidavit from the original owner claiming he check the wrong box on the title when he sold it to the gentle man i purchased it from. i was told by him that all i had to do was show the affidavit to the dmv when i transferred the title to my name and they would correct the title. well needless to so the dmv said the original title said actual miles and that was that. so i titled it to my name and it says 52000 miles not actual miles. so i started to wonder what was going on and i made an appointment with the local chrysler dealer to check out my vin info. they said that the window vin plate has been replaced. so now i think someone has done something dirty with this vehicle. what do i do now?? *nm
