| I am the owner of a 2000 jeep grande cherokee and the door locks are failing. i have two doors that have failed and now the tailgate. i cannot possibly open the tailgate at all. the doors have to be manually opened from the inside. this is a safety hazard especially with small children. in the event of an accident, these doors and tailgate will not open. the tailgate window will not work either. please notify me of a safety recall on this problem! | |||

| As i was in park with my vehicle running, my vehicle jumped out of park into reverse and rolled away eventually hitting a woman putting her into the hospital. it also had done damage to the funeral home we were at. i was not in the vehicle at the time. several times before the incident the car shifter would lock up and not even move out of park. | |||

| Consumer stated the the vehicle was in park with the emergency brake engaged and engine running. the consumer exited the vehicle then it began to roll backwards and hit a brick wall. upon inspection the consumer noticed that the gear lever had shifted from park to reverse. the consumer contacted the dealer about gear shift problem prior to this accident. *ts *nlm | |||
