| 1-i bought the jeep 4/2008. a couple of months after, a window stopped working. i got the regulator fixed. soon after that, another window stopped. i got that one fixed. every time i get one fixed another breaks. now i have 2 windows not working. 2-whenever i turn a corner, it sounds like the wheels are scraping against something. 3-soon after i bought the jeep, whenever it gets wet and i turn corners, there is a sound coming the front like its the axle or something. i have taken it to several people/dealers and no one can find out why. they test drive it and hear it, look underneath and still cant find out why or where the sound is coming from. | |||

| Passenger side warmt air flow from heater stopped. only cold air blows out. driver side is operating fine. evidently the air blend door has failed. this appears to be a chronic problem with this jeep vintage. i do not understand why a recall has never been issued for this common design failure. the fix is very expensive and involves removing the whole dash. however, mopar even makes a repair kit for this issue kit #k6855685ab, that does not involve removing the dash. jeep should be forced to recall these vehicles and correct their design flaw. | |||

| While attempting to repair both driver's and passenger's seat warmer system that was no longer working, i discovered that the factory installed heated seats had apparently shorted out and caused the foam cushion in each of the seats to catch fire. the wiring had burned a hole approximately 4 inches long and 1-2 inches deep. fortunately, the fire did not spread far within the seat. upon doing an online search, it appears that this is a very common problem. | |||

| Car started to run really bad then when i tried to crank it backup it ran for a few minutes and died. i noticed gas then flames coming from exhaust pipe.it will run for few minutes but really bad , then it will die. it want crank immediately after it dies you have to wait a while before it will crank again. i haven't been able to find out what the problems are to correct them. | |||

| My 2001 jeep grand cherroke limited with 140,000 miles has had air conditioning problems where it doesnt blow out cold air, for the last 3 years. i didnt care much about it and didnt plan to fix it until i noticed that the heating system was doing the same thing. the middle vents blow out cold air and the passenger side vents blow normal hot air. i live in a state where it gets brutally cold out in the winter time and obviously this needs to be fixed for comfort and also for defrost. come to find out that the repair is very costly $8-1800. and the most horrifiying of all is that after the problem is corrected, it will only happen again and you will be forced to pay to fix it all over again becuase of the parts chyrsler uses. i can not afford to fix this problem over and over again. this car dealer is well aware of this problem and is ignoring all complaints and forcing consumers to pay for the problem, when it is just going to break again. this is almost criminal! | |||

| 2001 jeep cherokee rotors and pads have been replaced every year in the last 3 we owned it. this year i will have to do it twice. never buy chrysler again, they have issues with a product and don't attempt any solutions to fix them. brakes pulse very bad, very bad while braking and they are fine for the first 90 days of the repair but then go bad again. i believe while braking in rain or wet conditions warping occurs and once again the vibration comes back. i purchased high performance rotors and pads and at the same time as factory rotors and pads the same thing occured again. recommendations: don't drive in wet conditions and get rid of truck, they say buy american but why???? poor workmanship and ignorance of the danger that could come of this shows they have no concerns for the american consumer so why should i have concerns for a business that is suppose to be a staple in the american economy. our government bailed them out... i bailed them out and this is the thanks i received,new rotors and pads at my expense. i hope they fold so that the product the bear their name to does not injury or cause death to people that hold trust in them. my only hope is that they close the doors on this company forever so that people can once again be proud of american products. signed, a very disappointed american consumer. | |||
