Driving at night, doing 50 mph when vehicle engine cut off - could not pull off road, apply brakes or steer.towed in. repaired by dealership only to occur again in 6 days when engine would not start at all. again, sent for repair, five days in shop. occurred again the very next day - would not start. has been at dealership another week and they still have no solution to problem. husband is totally disabled and we must have a dependable vehicle. we bought it used with only 37,000 miles on it so we thought it would be almost new. cannot take a chance of the engine cutting off while on a busy highway!

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep grand cherokee. when the contact turns the steering wheel all the way to the right, the inside of the tire would rub against the stabilizer bar. he could hear a growling noise, which alerted him to the failure. the dealer could not find any failures; however, they advised him not to turn the steering wheel all the way. the contact believed that this could not be avoided. the manufacturer informed him to get his vehicle inspected again. he took the vehicle to another dealer and they stated that the front carriage was off center. the dealer adjusted the centering and realigned the front end. after a few days, he turned the wheel again and heard the growling noise. the current mileage was approximately 22,900 and failure mileage was approximately 20,000. updated 12/11/08. *lj the manufacturer told the dealer to replace the stabilizer bar. updated 12/11/08. *jb
