 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep grand cherokee. while driving approximately 10 mph the tire pressure light illuminated. the contact stated that after adding air to the tires, the rear passenger side tire continued to lose air and the tire pressure light continued to illuminate. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the valve stem was corroded, broken and needed to be replaced. the dealer was contacted and stated that the failure was common and informed the contact that there was no recall. the dealer also stated that the repairs would not be covered under warranty. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 28,000.
