| Vehicle battery in 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo was changed 3 times in the span of 9 months due to battery loosing power. in june 2005, the 4th battery in the vehicle lost power. purchased new diehard suv battery and installed. on nov. 8, 2005, the vehicles electrical system caught fire causing the battery to explode and cause over $4,000 in damages. wife fears for her life and life of 2 y/o and 6 y/o who are transported in vehicle to babysitter and school on a daily basis. *nm | |||

| From day of purchase, heard loud creaking under the dash. assumed vents were opening/closing. eventually cold air began to blow from the right vents. i contacted the dealer and was advised that the blend door actuator probably needed replacing at a cost of $1500. they said bring it on, we have two here now with the same problem. *nm | |||
