| Tl*the contact owns a 2003 jeep laredo. the heated seats overheated and burned the contact. when the seats become very heated, he can smell them burning. the seats heat so severely that they do not function normally. the seats have not caught fire as of yet. the manufacturer issued a reference number, but have not provided additional assistance. the contact sustained moderate burns to his buttocks. the nhtsa campaign id number is 06v197000 (seats:front assembly:seat heater/cooler). the daimler chrysler recall number is f17. the contact also had to replace the front and rear axles more than three times along with the wheel bearings. the failure and current mileages were 50,500. | |||
