| This is for a 2005 jeep liberty. faulty speedometer. was replaced 2 times within 2 years. chrysler tsb indicates replacement of the rear differential fluid every year to resolve the problem. there is a problem with engineering if you have to do this. they will replace the speedometer for ~ $210.00 or change the fluid for $199.00 every year. consumers are being held hostage for this annual charge for the fluid change as i have had my speedometer changed 2 times already. the maintenance schedule says nothing about this in schedule a. however the dealer refers to schedule b as what they recommend due to this issue. however, the book sites an exclusion in schedule b if your vehicle is used commercially, heavy hauling, snow plowing, of road use, etc. i have as of 08/06/2008 42,722 miles on this, and do to prescribe to the above exclusion. *tr | |||
