I have a 2005 jeep liberty renegade and once again...for the 3rd time, the regulator has failed on my driver's side passenger window. this has also happened on the passenger side rear window twice. i'm sure after i have the driver's side repaired, this one will also fail. seeing the neverending complaints filed from other jeep owners having the same problem, how many complaints have to be filed before chrysler fixes the problem?

Jeep - since 2002 has had 1000's of complaints /repairs regarding the rear window regulator breaking over and over, and this also causing the rear doar to jam so it can not be opened. they have known this issue has been going on due to the regulator is plastic, and repeatedly breaks... not being able to the open the door is a safety concern... there are 1000's of blogs from people who have replaced these regulators multiple times, and jeep refusing to reimburse or file a recall - i have a jeep liberty 2005, and i now have had to replace both the passenger / driver side regulator, and both times the doors jammed... please investigate this for the 1000's of jeep owners that having to put out $300+ each time this occurs... with the economy the way it is, we just can't afford a new car, or having to pay for the same repair over and over and over... also, if you window won't stay close, it opens your jeep for being vandalized or even stolen.....

2005 jeep liberty window operation fails repeatedly due to poor design and inferior components.

The window regulator has recently quit working on three of the four windows on my 2005 jeep liberty. without any warning, the windows just fell down. because the regulator is not working, it is impossible to roll the windows back up. until the vehicle is repaired, the only way to try and keep the windows closed is to tape them in place. i am extremely afraid someone will be able to gain access to the vehicle while it is parked and/or at a stop. the vehicle is truly not safe and secure as long as i cannot roll the windows up 100%.

Jeep liberty 2005 windows. 2 out of 4 windows have fallen and no longer can be closed. the windows fell on their own without hitting and bumps or pot holes while driving. the window motor hums but the windows will not move up or down. this is a reoccurring problem for jeep and we ask the company to recall and correct this matter. it sould be taken care of by the company so they do not continue to lose the confidence of their costumers.

2005 jeep liberty back rear window fell down into door. will not go up and needs new regulator. dealership stated it would cost $400 to repair. after further research i see this is a huge problem and should be recalled. we bought the car brand new and no one ever rides in the back seat. honestly, the rear windows have probably only been rolled down twice.

Driver's side power window mechanism broke - the window fellin to the bottom of door panel. this happened last year on my left side passenger door window and is a known problem to jeep. however, instead of recalling this and fixing it, i had to pay $520 for a repair to the dealer. this is dangerous, because it happens at any time without warning, and there is no way to put the window up once it falls down into the door. i was fortunate that i was not far from home or on a trip when this happened, or it could have been extremely dangerous. there are thousand of people owning jeep liberties with this problem.

The tire jack that came with my 2005 jeep liberty bent under the weight of the vehicle. this is not only dangerous to persons near or under the vehicle, but made the jack unable to lift the vehicle to a height adequate to change the tire. the service person from aaa laughed when he saw what jeep had provided. *jb
