| When filling the fuel tank, as the fuel level nears the fuel tank capacity the gasoline splashes out of the filler neck and spreads down the side of the jeep liberty and forms a large puddle on the pavement of the gas station. this large puddle of gas could cause a fire/explosion if ignited, thereby killing the occupant of this jeep liberty and other customers at the gas station. in addition to this if the large puddle of gasoline is not ignited, after about 10 minutes the spilled fuel has all evaporated into the atmosphere causing pollution to our atmosphere. i am concerned that i am violating epa emission laws. | |||

| When fueling the car at the gas pump, it overflows. shut off mechanism is not working properly. jeep dealer said that it needs to replace the gas tank. this is a problem with many jeep liberty's. | |||
