Took car in for rear steering arm recall. was having a recurrent shimmy on front drivers side and a squeaking noise. had u joint bolts previously replaced and brakes and roters replaced in late october 2011. roters again replaced in feb.2012 due to warping and again replaced due to warping in sept.2012. when i took the car in for rear steering control arm recall they found the same issue with the front passenger side control arm. has anyone else had this problem? the front control arms have not been recalled. less than a month has gone by and i am starting to feel a shimmy again. do not feel safe in this car anymore. car is garage kept and up to date with scheduled maintenance. also part-time light on dash randomly flashes on and off. how long until the drivers side control arm needs to be replaced?

Esp/bas malfunction on my 2006 jeep liberty. when i apply the breaks the vehicle does not want to break and has caused me to loose control of the vehicle. the vehicle will shake and make a grinding sound. i took it to the dealership and they said it was the rear end sensor and charged me $289.80 for repairs. they also said they have no idea what is causing the grinding sound and my breaks are fine. after looking this up online, it appears that this a very common complaint and a serious safety issue.

Having approx. 31,000 miles on my vehicle, i was already hearing what i thought was the noise maker on my brakes. i took the vehicle into pepboys to find out it was not the noise maker. the factory brakes were not wearing correctly. i still have 50% left on the front and 75% on the back. i should not have to replace my brakes at only 31,000 miles. the brake pads are uneven and should were evenly. *jb
