| Tl - the contact owns a 2010 jeep liberty. the contact was driving approximately 5 mph when the accelerator pedal became stuck as the vehicle rapidly accelerated. the contact shifted into neutral to stop the failure however, the vehicle continued to accelerate. the contact merged to the shoulder and powered off the vehicle. the vehicle was able to be restarted and was towed to the dealer for diagnostic testing. the technician advised the contact that the accelerator sensor needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred one year later. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in any recalls. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 18,000 and the current mileage was 23,000. kmj | |||

| On july 12 i bought a new 2010 jeep liberty, on august 19 i received a safety recall (k15) master cylinder brake tube(s), from customer services field operations, the notice states that the work will take about 1/2 hour to complete . i call the dealer were i bought the new car and told them about the recall, and they told me that they are confronting an unusual flow of repairs and that for this reason they will not be able to take any unit for repair for the next 2 weeks. what should i do, stop the only vehicle that i use for work for 2 weeks. | |||
