| Tl- the contact owns a 2010 jeep liberty. the contact stated that while attempting to park, the vehicle accelerated independently and crashed into three additional vehicles. the contact was not injured. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where the contact was awaiting diagnosis. the manufacturer was notified and was referred to nhtsa but offered no further assistance. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileage was 40,000. kmj | |||

| Jeep liberty, 2010. left house and drove ~ 100' to the first stop sign and made a full stop. started to drive away and there was an immediate lurch and thrust of acceleration, with limited and/or loss of steering and/or braking ability. the jeep jumped a curb and struck a pedestrian and mailbox. causing injury to the person and damage to the car and mailbox. | |||
