| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 jeep liberty 4x4. upon starting the vehicle, all of the lights on the instrument panel illuminated. the next day, the abs and the traction control lights remained illuminated while the tachometer and speedometer did not function. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in any recalls. the vehicle had not been repaired but the problem still occurred whenever the contact drove the vehicle. the failure mileage was approximately 56,500. the current mileage was approximately 57,000. updated 05/18/10. *lj | |||

| Safety defect 1) my wife was driving in the rain and went to the mall. just after she left the mall, the 2) dashboard lights for abs, electronic stability control, and traction control came on and stayed lit. within a mile or so, my wife had spun across 3 lanes of interstate traffic and into the guardrail while attempting to enter interstate. 3) at this point the jeep liberty has been towed to a body shop. nothing to repair failure has yet been attempted. | |||
