This is a complaint about the fuel issue that i have seen on here already.when i go to put fuel into the gas tank, it will not stop at the end as it's filling up. it just overflows. i would say at least a few cups of fuel flows down the side of the jeep and down into the bottom of the vehicle and wheel well. i know that at some point it will lead to rust/corrosion among many other issues. i really wish this could be looked at and possibly fixed by manufacturer. it doesn't make sense that there are more than enough complaints about the same issue, with no help from the manufacturer. i also have the same problems as others with the windows. the regulator has a piece that breaks and then the whole regulator has to be replaced. this has happened 3 times already on different windows. lastly, i just recently had an issue where the jeep wouldn't start. the console lights and guages work fine and it acted like all was well, but the car wouldn't turn over when the key was turned. the result was the ignition switch actuator pin. it has a piece that breaks off and when that happens, the jeep wont be able start. it isn't an easy fix for someone who isn't mechanically capable. again, this is an issue that has happened to many people and honestly the manufacturer should do something about this. i could complain about more, but let's just leave it at that.

Left rear window has failed 3 times (9/5/08, 6/17/10, 10/16/11) and all three times the regulator had to be replaced. the right rear window has failed once (8/29/09) and the regulator had to be replaced. all 4 times, the car was parked and i found the window down and was unable to get it back up. this is a safety issue as i have young children in the back and use the window lock so they are unable to open the window. having an unreliable window that can fall down at any time is a serious safety issue for anyone with passengers in the back. i have complained to chrysler and they have extended the warranty for the window lift plate but not the regulator. there is a need for a permanent fix for this. i am tired of my regular trips to the dealer to get this fixed. consumers should not have to pay out of pocket to get this fixed.

I have a 2007 jeep liberty and @ 44,000 miles i had to have the compressor replaced, the auto shop stated that the wires burned out and this stop the compressor working, i asked how this could have been prevented and the mechanic stated that this could have not been avoided due to the way jeep has the compressor housed. this cost me over $1,000.00

Jeep liberty: due to a disability, i cannot reach snow on roof to clear. driiving about 35 mph, braking to slow down for stop sign, all the heavy snow on roof slid forward, completely covered windshield. i was a blind driver for at least 100 feet. no one in front of me this time, thank god. had to stop in middle of a busy road to clear windshield. never had this happen with any car i have ever owned. i am 62 and owned a lot of cars. i am so upset, i may sell this car, i am afraid to drive it with snow on roof. contacted dealer, he said clean the snow off the roof. i am disabled, i told him. he did not do anything, offer advice, etc. have you had any complaints like this?

07 jeep liberty sport with 35k miles on it, rear driver side window fails to work, called chrysler dealership in my area(heath, oh), vehicle out of warranty, they want $450 to to replace the motor, regulator and glass which leads me to believe this is a problem with this vehicle . definite safety issue

I have a 2007 jeep liberty with just over 31,000 miles that has encountered 5 window regulator failures. four of the 5 were covered by the factory warranty. since i am no longer in warranty as of june 2010, today's passenger side rear window failure will not be covered by warranty. the other failures include: 05/16/08 driver's window, 08/03/09 driver's rear window, 08/06/09 passenger rear window and 06/19/10 driver's rear window. as you can see 2 of the same window regulators have failed twice. living in arizona, having a window that will not stay up in 105+ temps is not tolerable. taping the window only offers temporary relief due to gravity. also, working full time and having to take my vehicle in for repairs is always challenging and inconvenient. i am wondering why this is not a chrysler recall?

2007 jeep liberty limited 4x4 - failure of window regulators i have had multiple failures of the window regulators that are internal to the doors and regulate the operation of the electric windows up or down. upon failure, the windows fall into the door frame. right rear window was repaired in oct 2008. left rear window was replaced in dec 2008. both front windows were repaired in may 2010. right rear window failed again in sep 2010. this may happen at anytime and may not occur during normal operation of the windows. chrysler is aware of this design flaw in their vehicles (2002 - 2007) but has refused to do a recall (they currently have tsb #2303807) issued. this is associated with nhtsa item number: 10022629

I have jeep liberty 2007. the back window of my car stopped working (makes weired sound while trying to move up). i got the same problem appeoximately two years ago on the same window and had dealer fixed them. here i got it again. i think jeep liberty 2007 has some problem with the window regulation.

I was driving down the interstate at 70 miles an hour in my 2007 jeep liberty with my three year old in the back seat in a child safety seat when the window in the door next to him fell down as i was passing a semi truck and trailer. a rock or any debris could have kicked up from the truck and injured my child. chrysler jeep will not pay for this defect because its not covered under their warranty. the estimated cost is between 400-600 dollars. my vehicle only has 15000 miles.

2007 jeep liberty, 52,000 miles, front driver window sticks when rolling up; back left window down and won't go back up...this happened during evacuation during hurricane earl!!! seems everything is going wrong with the jeep after the warranty expired. everyone i know with a jeep liberty has the same window problems. i cannot afford my $500 car payment and a $500 window replacement...actually make that x 2. i've already replaced the starter at 40,000+ miles.

Passenger rear left window fell into door. for safety reasons the window does not fully open. when winwod falls into the door an unsafe condition exists. after a brief web search it appears that this issus has been verified by many jeeep liberty owners and is not an isolated incidient.

My complaint relates to my 2007 jeep liberty. i am having problems with the power windows. this has happened on 3 different windows since i bought the car new almost 3 news ago. the power windows fail to work and the window drops down into the door.

2007 jeep liberty window just falls into the door frame. have had 2 regulators fixed under warranty now a third one just broke. vehicle only has 31,000 miles on it. the dealer advised it would cost $520.00 to repair it. apparently, this has been an ongoing problem and it should be recalled.

3 of the 4 power windows on my 2007 jeep liberty have failed...once the windows fail the will not stay up. had them fixed under warranty. the front driver window is failing again. this is a faulty part and should be recalled. i am considering if the proper agencies do not address this issue to seeking out and filing a class action lawsuit against chrysler and all responsible parties for the lack of concern over a potentially serious safety issue.

The back drivers side window does not go up or down any longer. thought it was just simply the window being off the track. after bringing it in to a local repair shop was told it is the window regulator that is the problem. after doing some simple online searches this is a major problem it appears with 2006 or later jeep libertys. there are thousands that have had this issue, and the part is expensive. it also is very unsafe as if you leave a pet in the car, and the windown just goes down by itself, that can be a major problem. a even bigger problem can be if you have a child in the car, and the window just goes down. plus obviously if it rains/ snows, or theft with window being opened. chrysler was made aware of this problem numerous times, and they do not issue a recall to fix. now i have to spend 300.00 dollars out of pocket to have fixed, when there is a obvious defect. im actually lucky from what i read as it is only my first time it happened, and in most cases it happens many more times over the lifetime of the vechile.

Drivers side front window regulator broke on our 2007 jeep liberty and now the window will not stay up. this is a safety issue because the open window allows for inclement weather to enter the vehicle thus distracting the driver from the focus of driving. this also presents vandalism and theft issues. the dealership wants $300+ to replace not just the part but the entire window assembly including glass, to say nothing of the labor costs. i have read in several places of hundreds of other people with the same problems and have come to the conclusion that there needs to be a recall of this component.

Power windows failure on jeep liberty 2007. rear windows have failed more than 6-7 times over last 60000kms . and it keeps happening. rear windows are rarely used .the window just slids down and exposes the car to thiefs. once the window fails, a cable in the window assembly jams the door locking system and cannot securely close the doors.

I have a 2007 jeep liberty. i have had 2 seperate window regulators fail on 2 seperate windows. the 2nd time this happened i was traveling on the freeway. the window slid down and seemed to cause issues with the door. the door came partically open but maintained a catch on the door hook. i had to stop on the side of the freeway to address this problem. luckily there was not a wreck. i was told there have been alot of complaints with this regulator problem but i have to pay to have it fixed. the window nor the door were being used as no one was sitting in that seat.
