| My jeep wrangler x 2dr was sitting from 12:15p the day prior to (was a nice day took my motorcycle around town) and at 5:30a i heard a loud noise that woke me out of bed. ran upstairs & outside the truck was pouring smoke out of my hood... than taking action my boyfriend unlatched the hood of a possessed truck (blowing the horn constant radio on lights on) and proceeded to disconnect the battery to yield/stop the truck from continuing to burn. called the dealer and they sent someone out to do a claim on the jeep and called me two weeks later saying they would not cover it because its not under manufacturers defect. the insurance company won't cover it either because we stopped the fire... which i don't understand. now after doing $3000 and upward of there in work replacing all the wiring (computer and fuse box) it still wont run. helllpppp! *tr | |||

| On two separate occasions my unmodified 2008 jeep wrangler x has given me an audible ding warning and the airbag warning light came on and stayed on while stuck in very slow moving highway traffic (approximately 0-10 mph). both times it was approximately 85-90 degrees f outside and the air conditioning was off. the second time this happened the hot oil warning recall fix had already been performed but i did not receive that warning nor did the temperature gauge rise more than half the width of the needle. on the second occasion the ding and airbag warning light came on repeatedly over a period of a half an hour each time traffic slowed down. | |||

| Tl*-the contact owns a 2008 jeep wrangler 2-dr 4x4. while driving approximately 55 mph a banging sound was coming from the engine, followed by a decrease in the engine power. the vehicle continued in operation to the residence, and upon inspecting the vehicle there was no oil in the engine. the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the technician informed that the engine needed to be replaced. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure and current mileages were 40,000. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2008 jeep wrangler. while driving 40 to 60mph the vehicle would vibrate uncontrollably he has to pull to the side of the road and the vibration would stop. there was no warning lights illuminating during the failure. the vehicle has been taken to the dealer seven times and they cannot duplicate the failure. the vehicle was still in the shop un repairable. the manufacturer was not call. the failure mileage was 36,000....mw | |||
