I bought a used 2007 jeep wrangler in june of 2010. a couple months after owning the vehicle, i noticed that if i left the gasoline pump on automatic, the pump wouldl cut off and gasoline would gush out from the tank, spilling on the vehicle and ground below. this happened at various stations and every time i went to fill my tank to full. to prevent it from happening, i only fill my tank to 3/4 full.

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler. the contact stated fuel spilling from the fuel tank during re-fueling from time to time. the contact has to hold the fuel pump when filling the vehicle to keep the gas from spilling. the dealer stated the rollover valve on the fuel tank is broken and will only get worse. the dealer stated this was not a warranty issue because the valve is broken and not a defect. the vin was unknown. the failure mileage was 2700 and the current mileage was 33000. rl

I brought a 2007 jeep off a new car dealer ( jeep was used with 53,000 miles on it) 2 weeks ago. i have filled the tank 3 times and each time the tank has over flowed a little at the end of the fill up and gas has spilled out onto the bumper and the ground.

Every time i fill up the jeep with gasoline the gasoline will spill out all over the side of the jeep, just as the automatic shut off from the gas pump activates. this started happening this last summer and is still occurring.
