Tl*the contact owns a 2007 jeep wrangler 4-dr 4x4. while the contact was driving approximately between 40-45 mph attempting to change lanes, the vehicle began to pull to the right violently. the contact was able to gain control and continue driving normally. the traction control, electronic stability control and abs warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. the warning light remained illuminated until the engine was turned off. the authorized dealer and manufacturer were notified and stated the failure could be related to a faulty sensor and recommended the vehicle be diagnosed to determine the specific sensor. the approximate failure mileage was 61,000.

2007 jeep wrangler 4x4 safari with esp (electronic stability program). esp intermittently turns on by itself and can't be turned off. it will eventually turn itself off. dealer tells me it's caused by a defective clock spring in the steering column, which also controls the steering wheel air bag, cruise control and the horn! i feel this is a safety concern, if any of these devices quit working, because of a defective clock spring!!!!

I was driving a 2007 jeep wrangler and the low tire pressure light came on. i filled the tires to the specified amount and drove down the road. the jeep all of a sudden violently shook back and fourth to the point i could barley hold on to the steering wheel. i was able to stop the vehicle, visually check the wheels and drive away and problem went away. i believe what i experienced was the death wobble. now recently my father was driving the same jeep and it happened to him 3 times on a road trip without the tire pressures being changed. he took it to the dealership and they replace the steering stabilizer. i believe this is just a fix to the damage that was caused by the jeeps malfunctions and they did not fix anything to prevent the wobble from happening again.

Abs, traction control and esp lights all went on and stayed on. i do not believe that any of these systems was working, as the vehicle spun out at under 40 miles per hour on damp pavement the day after lights went on. took vehicle to dealership, and was told it was a wiring problem. charge was more than $300.00. told i had to pay because i had more than $36,000 miles on vehicle. *tr

Purchased 2007 jeep wrangler unlimited new, but vehicle had been modified by the selling dealer with a 4 skyjacker lift kit. on second day of driving vehicle, began experiencing inappropriate activation of the electronic stability program. vehicle automatically brakes on certain freeway on ramps and highway curves, both while braking and accelerating. vehicle has been seen both by the selling dealer and one other dealer and problem has not been cured. chrysler customer service give no assistance and tells me that as the vehicle was modified by the dealer, i must work this out with the dealer. numerous internet websites describes this same problem with other lifted jeep wranglers. selling dealer has advised they have done all they can. *tr
