| Defect Summary | Kzrv is recalling certain towable travel trailers equipped with 1200-series norcold refrigerators. the population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. the response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient. | |||||||||||||||

| Had failure of one of the tires on camper trailer while in transport, damaging side trim around wheel area. upon returning home, two other tires were found to be separating at the edge of tread area, and failure was close at hand. tires had approximately 2,000 miles since new. this will be the second set of tires (different brand) in approximately fourteen months. tires: st235/80r-16 | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2006 k-z sportsmen (n/a) trailer with goodyear marathon st tires, size 205 75/r14, dot number: 0hkcvlhr. the contact stated that the tread on the rear passenger side tire swelled with air and caused the tire to become flat. the contact took the tire back to the original seller and was advised that there were no issues with the tread depth and the tire was not losing air. the contact rebutted the diagnosis and insisted that the rear passenger tire would not hold air or was losing air rapidly. the failure mileage was unknown. the vin was not available. kmj | |||
