 Tl-the contact owns a 2006 kawasaki, ex250f6f ninja 250. the motorcycle was parked while the engine was running for a few minutes and then it burst into flames. the fire started on the left side and was a total lost. no one was injured the fire was out before the fire department came and the origin of the fire was unknown there was no report filed. the insurance company was not called. there was recall notice kawasaki recall # mc07-01 fuel tank leaked. nhtsa#r: 07v003000 component: fuel system, gasoline: storage. the manufacturer was contacted and a claim was file but she was told to go to her local dealer for an inspection on the fire but after calling the dealer they informed her they did not want to be involved. she called the manufacturer back and was told they are not responsible and she should go to her insurance company. she still has the motorcycle parked at home. the failure mileage 1,351....mw
