Consequence SummaryThis could lead to excessive temperature, arcing or thermal damage at the connection point and potential damage to the panel board's electrical insulation which could lead to fire, property damage, or personal injury.

Consequence SummaryIf the coupler is lacking the indent it will lead to an increased risk of trailer separation from the hitch ball while towing resulting in property damage and/or vehicle crash.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 keystone cougar fifth wheel trailer. the contact stated that while the air conditioner was in operation, the main circuit breaker would trip as a result of a wire shortage. in addition, the circuit breaker panel had become extremely hot to the touch. the failure recurred frequently. prior to the failure, the vehicle was repaired under nhtsa campaign id number: 10v606000 (electrical system: fuses and circuit breakers). the remedy was not sufficient and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer for diagnosis where they were unable to diagnose a problem. the manufacturer was made aware of the defect. the failure mileage was unknown. kmj

 2011 cougar 26 sab. consumer writes in regards to rear bumper failure and recall that was issued. recall # 12v355000. *tgw the consumer stated a passerby informed him, that his rear bumper was about to fall out. the consumer stated the metal was extremely thin, and he wanted the bumper replaced with a heavy duty bumper. the dealer informed the consumer, the bumper would have toe be replaced with the same bumper as before. the consumer then went to a welding shop and had some braces put on. the welding shop, informed the consumer it may break again, due to the thin metal.
