Defect Summary	Keystone is recalling 161,250 my 2004-2007 fifth wheel and travel trailers equipped with a two-door refrigerator manufactured by the dometic corporation. the refrigerator may have a defect in the boiler tube. pressurized coolant solution could be released into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present.
Consequence Summary	If this solution is exposed to an ignition source under certain specific circumstances, it can result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective Summary	Keystone is working with dometic to repair these refrigerators (please see 08e032). dometic will repair these refrigerators by installing a secondary burn housing, a thermal fuse, and a melt fuse free of charge. dometic has retained stericycle inc. to manage this campaign. stericycle will assist the owner in locating dealerships or service centers and will provide assistance with scheduling of appointments. owners may contact dometic/stericycle at 1-888-446-5157 or keystone at 1-866-425-4369.

	Spring hangers rh sheerd from frame at 12,000 miles failed again at 13,000. oct 15 2010. lh failed at 16,000 plus frame fracture, april 4, 2011 3 tires seperated at tread line replaced january 15, 2011.

	Tl* the contact owns a 2006 keystone montana. the contact stated that he noticed that the vehicle was leveled lower than usual. upon further inspection he concluded that the driver side front spring had tore off the frame because the shackle hanger had broke. suspension failure while driving increased the risk for vehicle crash. the vehicle has not been inspected by the dealer, and no repairs were made. the current and failure mileages were 15000. updated 10/20/09 cn the consumer noticed the shackle hanger that fastened the end of the leaf spring had collapsed and the end of the spring was loose. the frame was sitting loosely on the spring and was no longer attached to the frame. the consumer stated the first hanger broke in 2007. updated 10/23/09.jb

	Tires on 5th wheel trailer blew out, 3 of 4 tires less than a year on t.t., with 09, and 10 mfg dates causing damage to trailer and several hours beside the road, the mfg. is b.c.t. a china co. size is 235 80 16 load rg. e., tires came apart with a loud report. tread in long pieces in the center of tire came off tearing up floor of camper. tires and camper are at a dealership for repairs and for examination of these tires. also had the same problem with continental tires on my f350 last year and the year before that. those were 235-85-16 load rg. e that had the tread coming off and tearing off the outside fender, .

	Tl*the contact owns a 2006 keystone montana. the vehicle has mission loadmax radial tires (na), size st235/80/r16 (na). while driving 70 mph, the contact heard a loud explosion. he looked through the rearview mirror and noticed rubber flying everywhere. he concluded that the front passenger side tire exploded or blew out. he pulled over to the side of the road and confirmed his suspicions while picking up the tread from the road. the insurance company researched their crash database and saw nothing suspicious. the contact took pictures and sent them to the insurance company. the pictures were then sent to the corporate level and the contact was informed that the issue was not cost effective enough to pursue recourse from the tire company. the tire and rv manufacturers have not been notified. the vin and dot number were unknown. the current and failure mileages were approximately 3,000.
