Dometic rv refrigerator recall 08e-032 i can not get dometic to give the name of a dealer who will do this recall. as this is a fire hazard recall, i am concerned. the dealers on their website in my area will not do it. i have called 4 of the dealers listed in this area, and none will do the recall work. i have also called the dometic hotline to get information as to where to get the work done. they were going to call me back with a location. i have yet to hear from them. i gave them my mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address, so they have a way to contact me. quite frankly, form what some of the dealers told me, they are not doing the work because dometic will not pay then enough time to do it. please advise me where to go from here, as i am at a dead end with dometic. thank you, glenn burton *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 keystone outback travel trailer. the vehicle has carlisle usa trail lrf tires, size 225/75/d15 (na). while driving 65 mph, the contact noticed another motorist pointing at his trailer. he pulled over and discovered that the front passenger tire had tread separation. the failure damaged the undercarriage of the trailer, cracked the lp gas line, and destroyed the fender. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was approximately 5,000.

Tires are on a 2007 keystone travel trailer. after 6 months and 500 miles the sidewalls on the tires were cracking. it is now 1.5 years, and a total of 600 miles and the cracking is severe, and the tires are showing separation where the namebrand and size are stamped. in outback forum online, many people are experiencing the same problems, including tire failure and blowouts. the keystone dealers give you a number to call, the distributor tireco. they offer replacements if you complain without hesitation. but the product has not been recalled. the consumer still has to pay for the mounting and balancing. they all know these tires are bad, but no one will issue a recall. why?? please investigate before someone is hurt or killed. i have lodged a complaint with keystone rv and tireco (800-937-9433). they are milestar tires. i don't know the maker as the distributor won't tell me. *tr

Purchased a new 2007 outback by keystone travel trailer in april 2007. when the trailer was taken out of storage this spring, all four tires were very badly cracked to the point of serious hazard if used on the road. tires were manufactured in 2007 and less than 1,000 miles on them. i have taken pictures of the tires and can mail them to you. *tr
