Defect SummaryEquipment description: taillamp assemblies which were not manufactured with side reflex reflectors and/or side marker lamps as required under federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. these lamps were sold between january 1, 1999, and december 31, 2000.
Consequence SummaryWithout the reflective material, the vehicle may not be clearly visible to other motorists which could result in a vehicle crash.
Corrective SummaryKeystone will notfiy dealers/owners to return the noncompliant lamps for a free replacement. owner notification began may 1, 2001. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact keystone at 570-655-4514.

 Insurance mandated aftemarket structural parts are not of the same steel strength as per a demonstration i recently saw. these parts (and there are thousands) are clearly not of the same quality as their oem counterparts but these are structural parts that when used, compromise the safety of the occupants. air bags won't deploy properly when the steel reinforcements don't react the same. *tr
