 Tl* the contact owns 2005 kia optima. the contact stated the front driver and passenger side doors would not lock or unlock from the interior or exterior of the vehicle. the contact stated that he would have to climb over the front seat and console to exit the vehicle through the rear doors. the vehicle was not inspected for the failure. the dealer was contacted and advised that the failure could potentially have been caused by a defect in the door lock actuator. the failure mileage was 110,000 and the current mileage was 115,000.

 Tl- the contact owns 2005 kia optima. the contact stated the front driver side and front passenger side doors will not lock and unlock from the outside and inside of the vehicle. the contact has to climb over the seat to exit through the rear doors. the vehicle had not been inspected at the time of the complaint, but the dealer stated the failure sounds like it is the actuator that controls the locks. the failure mileage was 110,000 and the current mileage was 115,000.rl
