| My kia optima accelarator sensor went out about a week ago. it would not go above 20 miles an hour. i turned the ignition off and restarted it. when i did that, it took off like a jack rabbitt without even touching the gas pedal. dealerhip towed it for repairs. they said it was dangerous to drive. it was determined to be the accelerator throttle sensor. the defect was repaired and no further incidents have occurred to date. | |||
