| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 kia sephia. while driving less than 60 mph, the windshield wipers stopped working. the failure occurred during heavy rain conditions and the wiper motor continued to activate; however, the wipers went into a vertical position and would no longer operate. the failure and current mileages were 138,000. | |||

| 1. rear window tint damaged by defoster wires causing the tint to bubble and obstruct rear view. 2. heat damage to front dash results in an adjustment or movement to the fromt windsheild creating cracks in windshiled to large to repair. occurs with both factory and commercially installed glass. 3. a sub result occurs where the defroster vents on the dash break and no longer provide directed air to the windshiled, causing obstructed views. *jb | |||

| I have had to have a power steering, rack and pinion, 4 sets of brakes going on 5. i have had to have my tires rotated more times than necessary. the brakes makes a grinding, rattling noise when i try to stop. when i press on the brakes it doesn't stop quickly. the gaskets around the door ifs falling off. the radio will shut off for no reason. the heater works when it's hot outside. the windshield was leaking. it has since been repaired. sometimes the car wont crank after sitting for a while it will crank. the engine light comes on. the glove box fell apart. i have computer problems and wiring problems. the gears are hard to put in reverse and then when it finally pops into gear it makes a loud popping sound. it slow to put in drive and then it will take off real fast almost making you run into something.*ak | |||

| When starting up the vehicle in the morning or anytime when the weather is cold the defroster doesn't defrost the side windows. contacted the dealer was told that a part had to be added to the defroster. this will take two or three weeks before receiving the part. the door lock mechanism will not catch when closing the door on the driver and passenger side in cold weather, and once it is closed, then it will not unlock or open the door. *ak | |||

| Nothing but problems since purchase. windshield separated from frame, molding fell off 4 times during first 4 months of purchase alternator replaced twice. battery replaced after only having vehicle 2 months. air condition (a/c) fuse blew twice fan fuse blew once causing vehicle to overheat. back doors stick shut. back doors hinges rusted and bent causing squeaking and not completely to shut. trans shifts hard and sometimes sticks. engine light and overdrive light blinked trans was shifted by itself. had trans flushed seems to be ok. car shakes at high speeds. tape player makes funny noises if used for long time.gas mileage has been poor since car was purchased. molding turned white. car has had fuel filter replaced twice. fuel sensor in tank replaced three times. *la | |||
