| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 qlink commuter 250(na). the contact stated while driving 35 mph, the muffler and one of the brackets that holds the rear tire broke away from the vehicle. the contact stated they heard a rattle coming from the back of the vehicle, but it was the luggage rack. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and it is currently being repaired. the failure mileage and current mileages was 3600.rl | |||

| My wife was riding my children's alta mach ii all terrain vehicle in our yard. she had made several circuits around the perimeter of our yard and down our blacktop driveway when the accident occurred. she was doing a 180 degree turn on the atv on the blacktop, when the right front wheel separated from the machine and rolled away. the machine pitched forward and the right front axle impacted the pavement. since this turn was being executed at a slow rolling idle, she was able to keep the machine from rolling by placing her feet on the ground. the axle of the machine appeared scored, and the recovered wheel had remains of the bearing inside. the bike had less than 10 miles on it and roughly only 3 operating hours. the bike has never been wrecked and never modified. it was originally purchased in mansfield la from a reputable cycle shop that specializes in atv sales. i do not know if the bike was assemble there or by the manufacturer. no one was hurt in this incident, but i am concerned because this is a children's machine. fortunately during this incident, none of my children were riding. i have contacted the manufacturer/marketer of this product, eton america via their web site. they provided a short response that indicated that they did not want to speak to me because this bike was purchased by my father-in-law. they provided not indication that this was a known defect. again, this is a point of concern because this is a kids bike, not an adult machine. we are taking the bike to a repair shop later in the week to get it fixed. i don't know exactly what caused the issue at this time. i will know more in about a week. please note that his is an alta mach ii all terrain vehicle. it is a 2008 model. this was not given in the options for the products. *tr | |||

| I started becoming concerning with this problem, after searching discovering tires are rated by a letter for max speed. the letter on my mc-13-250 scooter is rated j which means a max speed of 62 mph. on www.roketa.com, the company that sells mc-13-250, claims the scooter will do a max speed of 68.4 mph, which thus should require a rating of k, which is for 68 mph vehicles. the tire has the chance to blowout, if it goes the speed the manufacturer claims. www.scootdawgforum.com has people on this site, claiming to do 80 to 85 mph on these scooters. www.extreme-scooters.com is the online dealer whom sold me mine and claims they will do 85 mph. there are others online as dealers claiming the mc-13-250 will do 75 to 85 also. some stick to the manufacturers claims and one says 62 mph, to protect them selve if something occurs. i do not know anyone whom had an accident to the rating of the tires. *tr | |||
