| Defect Summary | Kzrv is recalling certain towable travel trailers equipped with 1200-series norcold refrigerators. the population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. the response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient. | |||||||||||||||

| Kzrv lp, 0985 n 900 w, shipshewana, in 46565 has been producing recreational vehicles for the last few years that have a water loss issue. kz does not have a resolution for this problem. the fresh water tanks have vent hoses that allows considerable amounts of water to spill onto the highway when the vehicle rounds a curve or is not level. the water may also wet the trailer brakes on one side. this water loss is both an inconvenience to the owner as well as a safety issue to both the owner and the public. a motorist or motorcyclist suddenly traveling on an unexpected wet road could lead to loss of control. ## vin passed ## kz spree, 261rks, 2011 ## | |||
