Defect Summary | The possibility exists that under high ambient/underhood temperatures, a chemical action may take place between any water content in the brake fluid and the brake spring in the master cylinder secondary piston chamber. as a result of this chemical action, a gas develops (hydrogen) which displaces the brake fluid causing a progressive increase in brake master cylinder piston travel with subsequent decrease in the efficiency of the rear braking system. | |||||||||||||||
