 Dangerous uneven tire ware.

Uneven tire wear on the 2006 land rover lr3, land rover knows there is a defect but has done nothing to repair. i am on my 3rd set of tires and my lr lr3 only has 40,000 miles. after doing research, there seems to be a lot of consumers with the same problem. land rover just gives me excuse after excuse and i have to pay for the new tires and an alignment. the wear on the tire is so severe it can be really dangerous on the roads. *tr

Shortly after purchasing my new 2006 lr3 i started noticing uneven tire wear and requested that the tires be rotated and for the service department to check the front end for proper alignment. on the following maintenance service the dealer said that the warranty had expired for front end alignments and there was nothing they could do unless i paid for it. now at about 35,000 miles i'm noticing exposed plys on the inner part of the rear tires and am concerned to drive it. this model definitely has a problem(s) causing premature tire wear which i fear may cause blowouts at high speeds thus causing serious injury or death. i understand that land rover issued a technical service bulletin la 204-005 in the us in october 2006, which covers vins from 5a000360 to 6a403382 that states that uneven tire wear may be caused by a degree of bush settle that affects the geometry of the tires increasing tire wear. the law firm of kabob in california has filed a class action suit and the case is now pending in the superior court of santa clara county. *tr

I have experienced abnormal tire wear on my 2006 lr3. the tires started wearing unevenly immediately after the purchase. the dealer changed some alignment issues at 10,000 miles that said they were from a defect at the factory and i was told the tires would start to wear evenly. at 16,000 the tires were found to be wearing unevenly again and i was told that they needed replaced. *tr

Uneven tire wear at 9000 miles. loud noise in cabin. i contacted the dealer to check the alignment as there is a tsb on this and was told the goodyear tires are just not good i have never seen a tire wear only on the inside edge because the tire is bad. looks related to the air suspension and toe to me. but they wont fix it, they told me to go buy new tires. i just paid 55k for the truck and 6 mos later they want me to buy good tires????

I own a 2006 landrover lr3 with 21,000 miles. all four tires were found to wearing only on the inside only by the dealer at 16,000 miles. at 21,000 miles the dealer informed me that all four tires are dangerously worn and that they need to be replaced. they are worn on the inside only. *tr

2006 land rover lr3 with n 9500 miles was taken to dealer for second episode of rain water leaking - dealer noticed increased wear on both back tires on inner surface. service representative stated lr issued a bulletin directing new specs on alignment/balancing due to a known issue of dramatic/unsafe wear on inner rear tires. dealer stated i will have to pay prorated schedule for tire replacement and alignment service - this was unsatisfactory as the wear was obviously due to a known manufacturer's issue. also quite concerned about multiple leaks from rain. purchased in california, but military stationed in north carolina. how could i pursue lemon law statutes . *ak

Tires showing uneven wear on inside treads...loud in cabin, completely premature and strange tire wear at 19,000 miles. very difficult to locate due to the wear being on the inside treads of all 4 tires. *nm
