| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 land rover range rover.hse. the contact stated the air bag light comes on intermittenly and the seatbelt light does not illuminate when the seatbelt was in use or not in use. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed him the seatbelt will not work if there was an accident. to repair the failure they will take the seats apart and replace the seat sensors at a cost to him. there are no recalls or warranty for this failure. the manufacturer was contacted who offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 62,000...mw | |||

| Passenger seat occupancy sensor failed which disables the airbag(s), requiring replacement. i know there was a recall on the same part several 2006 bmw models, land rover was owned by bmw at the same time and the part replaced has bmw branding on it. likely it is the same part and should have been included in that recall. *tr | |||
