| Srs warning just came on by itself and stayed on. i took it to a lexus dealer service and they've diagnose the exact problem as stated on: lexus is250 2006 safety report #lsb-0167-08 lexus is250 2006 technical service bulletin was issued dec 11, 2008.lexus is250 2006 had a failed air bags . lexus: vehicles may exhibit a srs light on condition with dtc b1861. *pe . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lexus agreed to cover half the cost of the part and zero on service, because it was over the 70,000 mile warranty. i told them that i was never informed of this defect when my vehicle was still under warranty but they still refused to cover the full cost of fixing it. i'm upset that they feel the customer is mainly responsible for a known defect that they knew about. | |||
