| Rack and pinion seals leaking. dealer recommends replacement of system for a cost of #1000!!!! this problem seems to be very premature for a vehicle of this age, with relatively low mileage and a pedigree that speaks of the relentless pursuit of perfection. lexus customer service contacted by telephone but they were unresponsive to my request for extended warranty for this problem. i have never owned a vehicle that has had this problem and i have driven most of my cars well beyond the century mark!!! ****dimsii ivoq entry posted after 12/12/02 cut-over to artemis*****728178. *ak *jb | |||
