 Tl-the contact owns a 2004 lincoln navigator. the contact stated that the air suspension system dropped the vehicle down upon starting. as a result, the vehicle would bounce and drive low to the ground. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that the air suspension system needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 80,000. sm.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2004 lincoln aviator. while driving at any speed, the driver heard a loud roaring noise coming from the rear end of the vehicle. he took the vehicle to the dealer and they rebuilt the rear end pinion and bearings, which only remedied the failure for ten months. when the failure recurred, the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they replaced the wheel bearings. six months later, the noise recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer. the mechanic test drove the vehicle, but did not hear the sound; therefore, the dealer stated that there were no failures. the contact believes that his vehicle should not experience the same defect several times. he stated that the failure appeared to be due to a manufacturer defect and that a recall should be issued. the failure mileage was 11,270 and current mileage was 27,475. the clockspring was replaced. updated 10/23/09 updated 01/28/10.

 While turning at low speeds vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the rear spindle needed to be replaced, and replaced it. however, the problem recurred. *ak
