| I was driving on a county road in colorado topickup some food.i was not going very fast because i did not know where i would have to turn. the side impact air bag deployed. i did not hit anything and nothing hit me. i have done everything that the car company has asked and now they will not take responsibility. the car has not been fixed yet. | |||

| Tl*- the contact owns a 2004 lincoln ls. while driving at 55 mph the contact heard a loud noise and noticed the driver's side air bag deployed without warning. the vehicle did not impact anything to cause the deployment of the air bag. the driver was injured. the vehicle was towed to the dealer, who was unable to repair the vehicle. the dealer stated that there was a hole in the floor underneath the seat which was caused by a foreign object on the road. the foreign object made contact with the side air bag sensor, which caused the deployment of the side airbag. the vehicle was sent to a collision inspection facility, and,they were unable to inspect the vehicle. the vehicle was sent to a different dealer. the second dealer stated that the side air bag deployed due to debris hitting the undercarriage of the vehicle. the current mileage was 25,000 miles. *ak | |||

| The passenger side impact airbag deployed without an accident while i was driving. ford has refused to fix the vehicle claiming that i must have had an accident because of the diagnostic computer code. only the one bag deployed, damaging the seat and the passenger side seat belt retractor molding. no one was sitting in the passenger seat at the time. | |||
