Upon accelerating vehicle would shift through the gears. when getting set to shift into overdrive the transmission made a grinding sound. felt like highway right of way reminders to wake up the occupants. this happened before and i had the vehicle inspected 4 times and the dealer couldn't explain. tranny flush cured the problem. this was at 25,000miles. it is back again at 55,000 miles. it feels unsafe. if this locks up at 55mph my family is in danger!

Consumer was traveling about 65mph on highway and vehicle started rocking from side to side. when applying gears vehicle was streaking. dealership was aware of problem.*ak
POWER TRAIN - AXLE ASSEMBLY

Grinding noise underneath vehicle's front end while application of power in acceleration or during climb on a hill. brought to dealership and test drove the vehicle with mechanic and he could not hear a sound in the vehicle. the next day i took the same mechanic on another test drive on a hill where the sound could be heard. he found that the noise was inconclusive to any manufacture recalls and could not identify there was any problems. the noise is still there and he states there is nothing to worry about. i feel there is something wrong and do not want my family or my self to be injured because of something unidentifiable. *ph
