My previous employer threatens to terminate more employees if they refuse to violate c.v.23114-spilling loads on highways. i was terminated ten years after my start date for asking for a variance to this law in writing. new managers implemented a new policy that endangers the public. managers wish us to stop removing gravel from the rear of our cement trucks prior to entering the highway. they also verbally order us to carry aggregate in a bucket outside the cargo area. the buckets detach themselves often while enroute. managers are deaf to the dangers as they increase performance reports. *tr | |||

On may 15th, 2005, i was involved in an oji due air brake malfunction. i was pumping salt water on to a old mack pump truck; the air lie used to flush the line is the same line used to hold the brakes when the brakes failed to hold rolling back an pinning between a 12inch steel pipe and the rear extension bumper on a 40ton truck with a steel coil hose on my tail bone. the governor failed randomly and was checked despite various relay to the repair personal the problem was not corrected also i would drive other equipment where the slack adjuster did not hold and would not be replaced. i could not depend on the brakes to hold on a normal stop. i am under the impression that the mechanics were not certified but, were ex-labor hands doing the repairs. best to my knowledge, this company continues to roll down the highways and byways (back roads) in texas. the local dmv over looks these faults during yearly inspection. *tr |
