 I have been having so many problems with my mazda 626 and it's a 2001. the times that i have taken it in the shop that would tell me that nothing is wrong with my car, but of course i know my car better i do drive it more than they have too. what i discovered just today is off the map funny(like something is not right), was dealing with my odometer reading. so if i can please allow me your help before my give out on me. thank you mrs. jackson

 Vehicle was hit a 30 mph in the front center of the vehicle but the air bag did not deploy causing minor injuries to the consumer. the drivers seat belt did not hold and as a result the driver head went through he windshield. the dealer was notified. ts *nlm
SEAT BELTS - FRONT - BUCKLE ASSEMBLY

 While driving 35 mph vehicle collided with a telephone pole. upon impact, both frontal air bags did not deploy. the seat belts did not lock up, and driver sustained minor injuries. vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection, but dealer did not resolve the problem. *ak
SEAT BELTS - FRONT - RETRACTOR

 On two occasions seat belt retractor failed to operate, leaving occupants without any restraint. dealer notified and made repairs. *ak consumer states the seat belt are pulled out to make it lock for child safety seats, consumer states the first failure rear and middle belts broke, belt would hang and not retract, second and third occasions belts would get twisted inside frame and would not pull out and retract.*jb
SEAT BELTS - REAR

 Dt: the contact's child was trapped in the left rear seat belt. the buckle assembly unlatched after several attempts. however, the strap tightened around the child, limiting movement and resulting in an injury. in an effort to free the child the strap was cut by the contact. the dealer has been contacted regarding the problem, but no repairs have been made. *ak updated 01/11/06. *jb
