Please see my e-mail of sept. 4 wherein i described the tire failure fully. our tire shredded as we were driving on the interstate and apparently we are lucky not to be injured physically...or worse. however, i am furious that firestone dealers were not only still selling the tires the week before the announced recall, but when questioned assured me - when i actually questioned whether i wanted to put any more of these tires on my car ( i now have four firestone/bridgestones!) - they assured me they were good tires. please call me or locate that e-mail or i would be glad to fax it.( dot number: )
