| Backed vehicle onto ramps to get underneath and replace speed sensor in the differential. vehicle rolled off steep end of ramps, bouncing about 8 inches. as a result of either the repair or the bounce, the vehicle has a strong gasoline smell and a diagnostic p0455 (eecs large leak). while investigating noticed that the vehicle apparently does not have the metal skid pad under the gas tank, and never did. eecs canister appears to be just in front of the spare tire, also nonstandard. beginning to think i was sold some sort of lemon. car was purchased new, also has the intermittent wiper and pinging problems others have reported.*ak | |||

| Engine developed rough idle at approx. 12000 miles. dealer says fuel problems, however i have tried several gas stations and the problem continues. engine experiences slight hesitation on take off from stop. also engine has stalled when truck is in drive possibly due to slow and rough idle. have also experienced surging upon vigorous acceleration. | |||
