Dt: within three months the fuel line came lose twice. the first time it occurred on june 26, 2005. another consumer alerted him that there was a bad fuel leakage. when the vehicle was taken to the dealer, he was told that fuel line came lose from the fuel filter. they did not find any damage done to fuel line so they just reconnected it. again on september 28, 2005 the problem recurred. this time the consumer just happened to notice that the motor was skipping and the fuel gauge was going down quickly. he was able to get safely off the road. when he looked under vehicle he noticed the same problem again. when he took vehicle to dealer to be repaired, they said that the fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter would have to be replaced. the consumer had the repairs done. the consumer was concerned of the safety issue because of the fuel leakage, and they could find no cause for it. *ak updated 11/2/2005. *nm | |||

After the dpfe sensor was replaced as a result of the check engine light illuminating, another problem developed, a steady rpm of 2100 to 2500 under a light load, when the accelerator is released the vehicle continues to maintain that speed, when the clutch is depressed, the rpms increase to 200-500 and stays there, tapping the accelerator will sometimes cause it to drop, but the usual way when in gear is to apply the brake, if the road is flat the vehicle will stay at the rpm indefinitely, throttle positioner and cpu have been replaced, however dealer has been unable to rectify the problem.*jb |
