Tl- the contact owns a 2007 mazda mazda 3. while driving approximately 65 mph the steering light illuminated on the dash board while the contact was changing lanes. the contact stated the power steering would not function intermittently . the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. the mechanic replaced the power steering pump, line and replaced the power steering fluid. the mechanic found a lot of corrosion around the power steering unit. the manufacturer was contacted and stated there was a recall nhtsa campaign id number: 10v374000 (steering:electric power assist system) but the vin was not included. after the repairs were made the steering light continued to illuminate. the mechanic was unable to diagnose why the steering light was illuminated. the vehicle was not repaired and the contact stated the power steering does not function at all now. the approximate failure mileage was 150,000. ds

Gas tank puncture while driving to work. puncture is pinhole size. the only event leading to this was braking hard to avoid a deer. there was no accident, no other damage to undercarriage, basically no signs of anything except a small hole in the tank. *tr
