| The sensor for passenger air bag off starting staying on, nothing was in the passenger seat. now the sensor thinks someone is in the seat ( when no one is in seat) and keeps flashing the buckle seat belt warning. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 mazda mazda3. the air bag warning light illuminated upon starting the vehicle with a passenger seated in the front passenger seat. the failure recurred intermittently so the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the front passenger seat weight sensor was repaired. the failure continued to recur intermittently and the vehicle was taken back to an authorized dealer where he was informed the vehicle was functioning as designed. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 3,500 and the current mileage was 7,900. sm. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2010 mazda mazda3. while driving approximately 30 mph with a passenger in the front passenger seat the air bag light came on indicating the air bag was not functioning. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the failure. the dealer saw the failure and after inspecting the vehicle for several days the contact was advised that the vehicle was performing to specifications. he also stated that the dealer stated that the failure had to do with the passengers weight. he stated the passenger weight 105 pounds. the failure continued and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer and a representative from mazda stated the vehicle was acting properly. the failure was intermittent and has been ongoing for less than a year. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage was 3,000 and the current mileage was 11,400. vwb | |||
