| Tl* the contact owns a 2010 mazda mazda5. the contact stated that the air bag light illuminated constantly when the passenger seat was occupied. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised that they could not duplicate the failure. there were no repairs. the vehicle was taken twice to the dealer but the dealer was never able to duplicate the failure. the contact sent a letter to the manufacturer and was awaiting a response. the failure mileage was 20,800. | |||

| Fashing airbag light while driving. but it disappers by itself . dealer and mazda customer service say they cannot check it unless it is flashing when it is at dealership. it happened several times two months back and also happened recently. unfortunately whenever we take it to dealeship the flashing light disappeared. | |||

| 2010 mazda 5 passenger airbag light stays on indicating the air bag will not deploy in the event of an accident. passenger's weight is 99 lbs. manual has 66 lbs as minimum weight to activate airbag. mazda usa and the dealer have been contacted and attempts have been made to recalibrate the seat without success. another mazda 5 and 2 mazda 3's on the lot revealed the same alleged defect. | |||
